Ellisa is a Licensed Social Worker who believes healing happens in safe, supportive relationships. She brings both professional training and lived experience into her work, creating a compassionate, respectful, and judgment-free space.
She works primarily with women and teens navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Ellisa also has experience supporting individuals impacted by addictive behaviors, intimate partner violence or abuse, and individuals across diverse identities and life experiences. She has experience working in behavioral health and crisis support, which informs her steady, grounded approach with clients navigating complex challenges. Her work focuses on helping clients rebuild a sense of safety, reconnect with themselves, and shift from survival-based coping into healthier, more sustainable ways of living.
Her approach is trauma-informed and integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and elements of Internal Family Systems (IFS). She also values incorporating somatic awareness, holistic wellness, and honoring each client’s personal beliefs or spirituality as part of the healing process.
Ellisa understands that starting therapy can feel intimidating and meets clients with patience, compassion, and no expectation to have it all figured out. She is passionate about supporting clients in healing core wounds, restoring a sense of self, and moving forward in a way that feels grounded and aligned. She values authenticity, connection, and creating a space where people feel safe to be themselves.
