Elaine holds a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wake Forest University. She has provided therapeutic support across outpatient, inpatient, and day program settings, working with adults and adolescents in both individual and group therapy.
Her experience also includes supporting neurodivergent individuals and working in inpatient settings with adults navigating mental health crises, addiction, and homelessness. Through these experiences, Elaine has developed a strong foundation in helping individuals work through emotional, behavioral, and interpersonal challenges while building skills for greater independence and well-being.
Elaine draws from a relational and person-centered lens and integrates evidence-based approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy. Elaine is grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens within a trusting, collaborative therapeutic relationship. She tailors her approach to each client’s unique needs, working collaboratively to support meaningful and lasting growth.
Elaine strives to create a supportive environment where clients feel understood and equipped with tools to manage distress, strengthen relationships, and move toward lasting change.
