I believe that mental health is the foundation of a healthy, joyful, and fulfilling life. I became a therapist to support others in creating lives that are not only productive but also rich in well-being.
I primarily work with adolescents and adults who are navigating challenges such as depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. Therapy with me is a collaborative process, and I work side-by-side with clients, creating a safe and supportive space for growth. I take a strengths-based approach, focusing on the individual and embracing diversity in all its forms. Using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), I help clients understand and manage thoughts and emotions, empowering them to make meaningful changes.
Outside of my work, I am passionate about spending time with my family, writing fiction and nonfiction, and traveling to new places. I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Duke University and am a Licensed Psychologist as well as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology. With over 15 years of experience in therapy and assessment across all ages, I’m here to provide the expertise and support you need.
