Anita Hampton, EdD, LPC, NCC, is a compassionate therapist with more than 25 years of experience supporting adolescents and adults through life’s challenges. She specializes in depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief, using a holistic, client-centered approach that blends empathy with practical strategies. Certified in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention, Anita creates a safe and collaborative space where clients feel heard, empowered, and supported in their growth.
Anita offers therapy virtually, making it easier for clients to access care from the comfort and privacy of their own space. Many find virtual therapy to be just as effective—and sometimes even more convenient—than in-person sessions.
Outside of her work, Anita finds balance through spirituality, spending time outdoors walking, hiking, and jogging, and immersing herself in books that expand her perspective. She also enjoys yard work, which she finds calming and restorative, creating peaceful spaces to enjoy with family and friends. These passions enrich her own well-being and allow her to bring a fresh, holistic outlook to her professional work.
