My name is Deja Knudsen. I graduated Boston College School of Social work in 2023 and became a Licensed Certified Social Worker in July 2023. I have worked in community outreach, and in addiction, and trauma services for the past three years.
Some of my additional specialties include Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Crisis Stabilization and ADHD. I have completed social work internships at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, and Shriners Childrens Hospital. I have worked with adult, adolescent, and child populations during my social work career.
Some of the interventions I utilize in my clinical practice are cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, art therapy, and motivational interviewing.
