Debbie is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS). With over 10 years of experience, Debbie has a broad range of experience helping individual clients, couples and families. She enjoys working with clients who are currently navigating challenging life transitions and, as a former school counselor, is adept at working with adolescents and young adults, primarily around issues of perfectionism, anxiety, and self-esteem. As a former Division I swimmer and current Ironman triathlete, she has the skills and experience to work closely with clients who are currently negotiating the stressful and unique challenges associated with high level athletics, at the high school, collegiate, or professional level.
Debbie employs a strengths-based, person-centered approach that places at its core the relationship between therapist and client. She believes that wellness is a journey and will work collaboratively with you and your family to build rapport, acquire skills, and navigate conflicts as they arise. She looks forward to working with you, your child, or family in assisting you as you achieve your professional, athletic, or therapeutic goals.
