Debbie Burke, LPCC

Therapist

Debbie uses a humanistic approach. One of unconditional love and acceptance, combined with years of wisdom and humor. She will guide each client to progress through their journey of healing, utilizing strengths-based, trauma-informed, evidence-based practices (EBT’s). Whether it is child-centered play therapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), or parts therapy, Debbie encourages each client to grow at a pace that is comfortable for them.

Music and other activities are often incorporated, which may involve playing guitars, a calming steel drum, a wooden xylophone, or engaging in board games or drawing. This allows for a “space and dose” approach that helps minimize overwhelm and promote self-regulation. Populations of interest for Debbie include: children six and up, adolescents, women, and those who have been diagnosed with ADHD or autism. Regardless of your walk in life, with Debbie, you will know you are seen and heard.
