DeAnna completed a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University after spending nearly 25 years in healthcare and experiencing first-hand the impact of acute and chronic illness on families and relationships. She is supervised by Jonathan Wilson, Ph.D., LMFT-S.
DeAnna’s experience includes facilitating workshops on stress and anger management, conflict resolution and goal setting, as well as volunteering in the recovery community in North Texas for the last 14 years. DeAnna serves individuals ages 14 and up, couples and families, specializing in supporting those with anxiety and depression, ADHD, mood disorders, grief, and life transitions, and those living with the effects of disabilities and acute / chronic illness. DeAnna is skilled in walking through conflict with couples and families. DeAnna is also trained in EMDR for trauma as well as limiting beliefs.
Having experienced her own healing journey, DeAnna is passionate about supporting others in an emotionally safe and non-judgmental way, as well as walking alongside others to improve their relationships. DeAnna’s desire is to see others live their best lives.
DeAnna lives in Sachse, Texas with her husband and their three dogs. She enjoys spending time with their four children and five grandchildren.
