Dayana is a dedicated and supportive bilingual therapist committed to helping children, adolescents, and families navigate emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. She has experience supporting clients with depression, anxiety, trauma (including childhood and complex trauma), PTSD, ADHD, identity development, family conflict and adjustment difficulties, intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and other behavioral health concerns.
As a first-generation immigrant and first-generation college graduate, Dayana brings a deep personal understanding of resilience, transition, and cultural identity. She draws on this lived experience to support clients facing immigration-related stress, academic pressures, career transitions, and other significant life changes with empathy and authenticity.
Dayana is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) who practices from a collaborative, strengths-based, and person-centered lens. She creates a warm, affirming, and culturally responsive therapeutic space where clients feel safe, heard, and empowered. Her work emphasizes building resilience, emotional regulation, and self-compassion.

Originally from Mexico City, Dayana has lived in North Carolina for over a decade. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from North Carolina State University and her Master of Social Work from UNC–Chapel Hill. With over six years of experience serving Hispanic and immigrant communities in the Triangle, she specializes in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and family advocacy. Her professional background includes work in community mental health, case management, integrated behavioral healthcare, domestic violence agencies, early childhood programs, and primary care clinics, as well as international experience and leadership roles. Dayana is passionate about partnering with families to strengthen connection, understanding, and access to resources. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, dancing, listening to music, baking, and spending time with loved ones.
