Dr. Daniel McClure is a mental health counselor and certified mindfulness meditation teacher and educator. He brings 15+ years of experience as an educator, group facilitator and mentor to his clinical work. His approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate and solution-focused.
He specializes in working with adults and young adults undergoing life transitions related to career, relationships and/or identity formation. He has particular expertise working with those who work in the helping professions including educators, therapists, medical professionals and public safety professionals. He also works with caretakers and/or those who care for family members, friends or others in need.
He meets clients where they are and helps them to feel heard, seen and empowered about their decisions, their relationships and themselves. His approach is inclusive, experiential and works with clients to develop the tools, cognitive flexibility and motivation to work towards their goals and to navigate a path to wellness.
He draws upon a variety of treatment modalities to facilitate cognitive and behavioral change, greater self-awareness and opportunities for growth in clients. He utilizes process and mindfulness-based approaches to help clients clarify goals, identify presenting issues and chart a path forward as they navigate a path to wellness.
