Curtis George, MSW

Therapist

Curtis received his master degree at Salem State University in social work after serving eight years in the military. He has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across multiple settings, including Veteran centers, homeless shelters, and youth-based programs. Curtis has a passion in helping people navigate life’s difficulties. He is experienced working with individuals who are dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, and anger management. Curtis supports his clients in cultivating healthier thought patterns and behaviors through CBT, DBT, and strength-based techniques.

Curtis believes that there are no “one size fits all” to therapy and that the client is the expert in their own lives. By working together Curtis’ goal is to help his clients create tools and coping skills that allow them to work through unprocessed trauma, unlearn negative core beliefs, and re-regulate the nervous system.
