Cormac is a provisionally – licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of New York. Cormac received his bachelor’s in Psychology and Disability Studies from Springfield College and his Master of Science in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the College of Saint Rose. Cormac has counseling experience with children ages 5 to 14 and their parents. Cormac enjoys working with people across the lifespan, however, has mostly worked with children who have experienced many different trauma, ranging from sexual assault, physical abuse, experiencing domestic violence, and grief. Cormac uses a trauma informed approach to counseling with a combination of CBT and Gestalt perspective and interventions. He would like to let his future potential clients know that he fosters a safe environment for all!
