Colleen Christiansen, MS, LPC, SAC

Clinic Director

Sometimes we cannot do it on our own and it can be hard to lean on another, let alone someone we barely know. As a therapist, Colleen is very aware of this when meeting with a client for the first time. Talking about our fears, worries, struggles, failures, mental health symptoms, relationships, and even our successes can be a challenge. If you work with her, she will meet you where you are at. She is a straightforward and non-judgmental therapist that applies modern techniques and aspects of just being human into therapy sessions to create a space where you can be YOU! Each of us is unique. She enjoys bringing humor and creativity into therapy. She looks for strengths in each person and applies that to the healing process. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She obtained her Master’s in Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Areas that she specializes in are: OCD, pregnancy & postpartum mental health, anxiety disorders, depression, burnout, stress, identity, adjustment, parenting concerns, and trauma. She works with those who are 18 years and older. She is eclectic in the modalities she uses for treatment, and she most commonly applies; ERP, CBT, DBT, ACT, and Person-Centered techniques.
