Cindy Williams, MA

Therapist

Parenting can be one of the most rewarding experiences in life, but it can also be one of the most overwhelming. When your child is struggling, family stress is building, or everyone seems stuck in the same patterns, it is easy to feel exhausted and unsure of what to do next. You do not have to navigate it alone. Cindy provides a warm, supportive space where children, teens, and families can feel understood, build new skills, and create meaningful change together.

Before becoming a therapist, Cindy spent more than 17 years working in pediatric healthcare, supporting children and families through every stage of development. That experience gave her a deep understanding of the challenges parents face and continues to shape her compassionate, practical approach to therapy today.

Cindy works with children, adolescents, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, behavioral challenges, and life transitions. She has extensive experience supporting youth with high emotional and behavioral needs and believes lasting change happens when both children and caregivers feel supported. Whether you are navigating difficult behaviors, family conflict, or the effects of trauma, Cindy works collaboratively with families to strengthen relationships, improve communication, and create healthier patterns at home.

As a bilingual therapist in English and Spanish, Cindy is committed to providing culturally responsive care that honors each family’s unique experiences and values.

Her approach is trauma-informed, client-centered, and relationship-focused. Drawing from CBT, DBT, Rogerian therapy, existential perspectives, and family-based interventions, she tailors treatment to each client’s needs while creating a safe environment where growth can happen at a comfortable pace.

Cindy is passionate about helping children, teens, and families build resilience, strengthen their relationships, and move toward a future that feels more hopeful and manageable.
