Dr. Christine Hoskins is a New York State Licensed Psychologist who specializes in working with adolescents and young adults navigating complex inner and interpersonal worlds. She sees therapy as a space for authentic connection, healing, and growth—and approaches each client as a compassionate partner in their journey toward greater insight and self-confidence.
Christine creates a calm and affirming space where clients feel seen and safe to explore what’s been weighing on them. She focuses heavily on the therapeutic relationship, helping clients build the internal resources to face life’s challenges with resilience, clarity, and increased autonomy.
Using an integrative and individualized approach, Christine draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), modified Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused treatment. Her work is informed by training in executive functioning, neurodivergence, and relational dynamics. She has particular experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, executive dysfunction, learning differences, trauma, and the effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).
Christine earned her doctorate in School Psychology and a master’s in Therapeutic Interventions from Fordham University. Before transitioning to private practice, she worked as a school psychologist at a school for students with language-based learning differences in Atlanta, Georgia. She is also an Adjunct Professor of Psychology at Fordham University, where she teaches undergraduate courses. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, walking her dog, and spending time with family.
