Christine Fields, LMSW

Therapist

My name is Christine Fields, LMSW. I completed both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work at Tarleton State University. I am a trauma-based therapist with close to 11 years working with individuals who have experienced severe trauma. I have worked in multiple capacities assisting survivors of trauma. In all of these capacities, I was on the front lines working with victims of Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, Trafficking and other types of victimization. I have also had the privilege coaching women in their career development and building healthier, financially stable lives.

Along with my Clinical and Social Work skills, I am a Certified Financial Social Worker and a Global Career Development Facilitator. My passion is for others to experience their authentic selves. I consider myself to be a compassionate clinician who is dedicated to assisting individuals heal. My approach to assisting others in their healing comes from the firm belief everyone has exactly what they need within themselves. I tend to use a very eclectic approach. I am well versed in using a client-centered and strengths-based approach. I also firmly believe in dealing with the root causes of the issues and barriers. EMDR is my favorite go to for uncovering those hidden root causes, which I feel is a very effective tool when dealing with trauma, as well as CBT.

I love spending time with my family and friends. I am starting a new hobby in gardening, and hope to be a dog mom again in the near future. I also enjoy writing and immersing myself in learning new things and enjoying live music.
