Senior Clinical Director

Christie Hennigan is a licensed Mental Health provider, EMDR-certified, and board-certified to provide License Eligible Supervision. As Senior Clinical Director, she oversees multiple clinics throughout Virginia, leading clinical teams and driving the expansion of high-quality mental health services across the region.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY, and her master’s in psychology from Capella University in Minneapolis, MN. As a military spouse, Christie has worked nationally and internationally, developing a deep understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds and clinical needs.

With a strong commitment to expanding access to mental health care, Christie specializes in working with children, adolescents, families, couples, military personnel, and trauma survivors. She has been recognized as an expert in trauma by the courts and is a dedicated advocate for individuals overcoming life-altering experiences.

Recently retired from military life, Christie and her family have established roots in James City. She is passionate about developing and strengthening mental health programs, ensuring client-centered, evidence-based care is accessible to communities throughout Virginia.
