During his 17+ years in the behavioral health field, Chris has worked with all ages in a variety of settings, including inpatient, intensive outpatient, crisis services, and standard outpatient practices. He enjoys infusing creativity, humor, and multimedia into the therapy process. He has developed a specialty in working with individuals who have suicidal thoughts, self-harm behaviors, and treatment resistant depression. He also routinely works with anxiety-based disorders, grief and loss, and general difficulties in adjusting to new life circumstances. He uses many different forms of therapy including mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy, brief solution focused therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy.
