Clinic Director

Chelsea is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Approved Clinical Supervisor and a Certified Clinical Trauma Anxiety Professional. With over 16 years of experience in behavioral health, she is passionate about providing empowering, evidence-based care to individuals seeking support for their mental well-being.

As the Clinic Director at Ellie, her goal is to help clients gain the tools to navigate life’s challenges. A graduate of Kean University, she was honored with the Heroic Action Award from the state of New Jersey for performing life-saving CPR on a child in need at the university pool.

As an athlete, she values the connection between mental and physical health, believing that a holistic and integrative approach leads to the best outcomes in overall well-being. As a direct result of this, Chelsea specializes in a range of therapeutic modalities, tailoring the approach to meet each client’s unique needs.

In addition to collaborating with individuals facing common mental health challenges, she is an educator and public speaker. Chelsea was honored to be awarded the NJ Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association’s (NJPRA) “Supervisor of the Year” in 2019. Chelsea’s background also includes extensive work with the underserved homeless populations across New Jersey, as well as individuals with serious mental illness in community settings.

Chelsea is a strong advocate for veterans, law enforcement and all first responders, as well. She enjoys offering her expertise on mental health and business counseling consultation to various outlets along with mentoring provisionally licensed and master’s level clinicians to full competent and ethical licensure.

When she is not working, Chelsea enjoys spending time with her family, weightlifting, reading and playing the drums.
