Catherine Martin, Masters in Mental Health Counseling

Therapist

Hello! My name is Catherine, and I am a master’s-level clinician at Ellie Mental Health.

I began my career in education—working in both special and general education—which gave me valuable insight into how to connect with individuals of all backgrounds, abilities, and learning styles. This experience continues to guide my approach as a therapist, helping me create a safe, inclusive, and empowering space for each client.

My therapeutic style is rooted in meeting clients exactly where they are, while also encouraging growth beyond their comfort zone so they can reach their goals. I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, person-centered therapy, and trauma-informed care. I also integrate mindfulness and strength-based techniques to help clients build resilience and self-awareness.

I have experience working with individuals who have faced varying levels of trauma, as well as those navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, grief, and a variety of personality disorders. I am committed to cultural competency, recognizing and honoring the diverse identities, lived experiences, and perspectives each client brings. I can’t wait to meet you!
