Carolyn specializes in working with teens and adults and has extensive experience working with depression, suicidal ideation, self-harm, emotion regulation, and interpersonal issues. She views therapy as a collaborative process where clients can learn skills to manage emotions, build healthy relationships, and create a sense of meaning and purpose in life. Carolyn utilizes a strengths-based approach, highlighting client resiliency, that includes treatment modalities of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Outside of work, Carolyn enjoys trying new restaurants, being out in the sun, and making memories with her puppy, Jagger. Most importantly, her favorite color is pink!
