In my time working with clients, I have found there are moments where a client gets a light in their eyes. Whether it be from feeling understood, or like they are no longer alone, these are the moments that embody my goal as a therapist. With trauma-informed, adaptive intervention approaches such as EMDR, systems approaches, somatic and narrative approaches, I work alongside clients to create a space based in their strengths.
Much of my experience has been working with neurodiverse clients, clients with trauma, and clients struggling with perfectionism and people pleasing/attachment wounds. In our sessions, we will work to explore the systems that have affected you and what you need to feel more grounded and regulated, all without blame or shame for what you have done to survive.
Together, we will collaborate to create a space of unconditional positive regard, use anti-oppressive frameworks, and diligently work in a way that feels safest to you. All people deserve a space to be supported, celebrated, and trusted to heal at their own pace, and in their own way. I hope to provide that for you.
