Careen is a multilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker who brings over 30 years of experience supporting individuals across the lifespan. She provides compassionate, client-centered care rooted in active listening, encouragement, and collaboration. Careen works with individuals managing a wide range of mental health concerns, including psychiatric diagnoses, and has experience supporting clients who use medication as part of their treatment. In addition to English, Careen is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
Careen has extensive experience working with children and families through play therapy, combining her clinical training with a genuine love for helping young people grow and heal. Throughout her work, she emphasizes each client’s inherent strengths and believes that healing and self-discovery are possible when individuals are provided with the right support and tools. She is guided by the belief that even the smallest steps forward are meaningful and deserve to be recognized and built upon.
Outside of the therapy room, Careen enjoys spending time with her family, going to the gym, and gardening.
