Candice is a compassionate and nonjudgmental therapist who believes that clients are the experts of their own lives. She strives to create a safe and collaborative space where clients can feel heard, understood, and supported as they pursue healing and growth in ways that are meaningful to them.
Candice completed her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Boston College. Her clinical experience includes supporting clients across the lifespan with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and ASD. She has also worked with clients who are navigating relationship concerns, identity exploration, major life transitions, and acculturation-related stress. Candice takes an integrative, client-centered approach and tailors therapy to each client’s needs, values, and goals. Her work is informed by Relational-Cultural Therapy (RCT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), strengths-based practices, and trauma-informed care.
Born and raised in China, Candice moved to the United States for higher education and is fluent in Mandarin. Having experienced acculturation herself, she understands that navigating different cultures, identities, family expectations, and major life transitions can be both meaningful and challenging. She values each client’s cultural background, lived experiences, and personal values, and makes space for clients to speak openly about what matters to them at their own pace.
In her free time, Candice enjoys taking walks in the nature, doing crafts, cooking, exploring different cuisines, and binge-watching TV shows.
