Candace Walton, LPC

Therapist

Life can feel overwhelming at times, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. I provide a supportive, compassionate space where you can feel comfortable sharing your experiences, exploring challenges, and working toward meaningful change.

I work with children, teens, adults, and families facing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, behavioral concerns, and life transitions. I have extensive experience supporting individuals who have experienced childhood trauma, abuse, neglect, domestic violence, and other difficult life experiences.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. Together, we will identify patterns, build practical coping skills, strengthen resilience, and work toward the goals that matter most to you. I believe therapy should be personalized, and I strive to ensure each client feels heard, understood, and supported throughout the process.

Whether you’re seeking healing from the past, support in the present, or tools for the future, my goal is to help you build confidence, gain clarity, and create lasting positive change.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and have completed EMDRIA-approved training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Oakland University.
