Brittany is a provisionally licensed professional counselor who earned her Master’s Degree at Southeast Missouri State University. She has spent the last 3 years in a school counseling role in Jackson, Missouri where she worked with students ranging from 5 to 10 years old and their families. In group and individual settings, she focused primarily on supporting students with ADHD and anxiety that impacted their academic success. She also supported students who experienced parental loss, friendship and social challenges, and students in crisis. Brittany is passionate about working with kids with a trauma informed lens using play therapy and animal assisted interventions with her main registered therapy dog, Layla. She recognizes that each person is unique and models her services to meet the individual needs of everyone she works with. Her warm and inviting approach helps her clients feel welcome. Brittany’s main specializations include ADHD, anxiety, family relationships, grief, trauma, life transitions and foster/adoption.

In her spare time Brittany is all about her dogs, fostering youth in her community and spending time with her family. Her four dogs compete in various dog sports and are even in the dog acting world!
