Briana (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her Master of Social Work from Temple University. Briana has been working as an outpatient therapist for 4 years, prominently working with children, adolescents, young adults and families. She has worked with individuals experiencing a variety of challenges and diagnoses, including PTSD, depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, grief and loss, LGBTQ+ exploration and gender identity exploration. Briana has training in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and specializes in working with children who have experienced sexual abuse.
Briana works from emotion-focused and person-centered therapeutic approaches, and utilizes components of CBT, mindfulness, complex trauma-informed and relational therapies based on the needs identified by her clients. Briana is an advocate for social justice in and out of session, prioritizing acceptance and inclusion for all identities. Briana views therapy as a space for collaboration and communication with the primary goal of feeling supported.
