Bassel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Psychology from Suffolk University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Simmons University. He brings two years of clinical experience to his work with adolescents and adults, particularly those navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, and trauma.

As an Arab-American therapist fluent in Arabic, Bassel is deeply informed to the unique experiences of immigrants and individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. His practice is rooted in creating a compassionate and nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to express themselves fully and freely.

Bassel draws from a range of evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and exposure therapy. Whether supporting clients through difficult life moments or long-standing emotional challenges, he tailors his work to meet each person’s needs with care, flexibility, and cultural sensitivity.
