Azia is a licensed professional counselor who brings both expertise and compassion to her work with children, teens, and families. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Vanderbilt University and completed her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Austin Peay State University. In 2025, she became fully licensed as an LPC-MHSP. With a strong foundation in evidence-based care, Azia supports clients facing a wide range of challenges—including ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, behavioral struggles, anger management, trauma, grief and loss, attachment concerns, and major life transitions. She understands that no two journeys are the same and tailors her approach to meet each client’s unique needs. Azia draws from a variety of therapeutic methods to support healing and growth, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a powerful technique for processing trauma. Her warm, nonjudgmental presence helps clients feel safe, seen, and empowered as they work toward meaningful change.
