Audra Johnson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapist. She earned her Master’s degree from Aurora University in 2020. Audra specializes in working with adults 18+ who have a history of, or are currently experiencing trauma. She also enjoys working with women regarding women’s health issues, as well as infertility and perinatal mental health. Based on her past clinical experience, Audra has also taken an interest in working with adult male clients living with ADHD, or other men’s issues.
Audra is committed to serving disadvantaged populations, including clients who are uninsured/underinsured, minorities, and clients who have experienced inadequate service in mental health and/or medical settings. She uses a combination of modalities, primarily trauma-focused CBT, person-centered therapy, and EMDR. Audra’s therapy style is centered around meeting each client where they are and curating a treatment approach for each client’s specific needs.
In her free time, Audra enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and is working on a goal of restoring her childhood love of reading, one book at a time!”
