Ashley Kahr, a dedicated Clinical Professional Counselor-Intern on her journey towards full licensure, is committed to providing exceptional support and guidance to individuals. She earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University in July 2022, and she also holds a Master of Science in Career Counseling from Capella University. Originally hailing from Rhode Island, she has called Las Vegas her home for the past 15 years.

Ashley’s passion lies in helping a diverse range of clients, including children aged 10 and above, teenagers, young adults, and adults. Her areas of expertise encompass anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship issues, trauma, and women’s concerns.

Ashley’s therapeutic approach is firmly rooted in client-centered care, where she integrates evidence-based techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and others. Additionally, she is trained in Parts and Memory 1 and 2, further enhancing her ability to provide effective counseling.

In her free time, Ashley finds joy in spending time with her boyfriend, his two children, and their schnoodle, Finn. She enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and kayaking. She’s a music and travel enthusiast, with a penchant for attending concerts and exploring new destinations. Cooking is another of her passions and a source of self-care. Notably, she is an enthusiastic supporter of hockey and baseball, proudly cheering for the Knights and the Red Sox. Go Knights and Go Red Sox!
