Ashlee Frias is a supervisee in social work. She received her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and her Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. Ashlee is pursuing licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and has experience working with clients ages 8-60+ and helping them with anxiety, depression, trauma, adjusting to foster care placement, anger management, stress management, behavioral challenges, bullying, and domestic violence. Ashlee uses a variety of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy to best support each of her clients’ individual issues and needs, and is a LGBTQ+ affirming clinician. She has been trained in CBT, TF-CBT, anger management, and Eye Movement Integration (EMI).
Ashlee enjoys developing genuine rapport and building a trusting and safe therapeutic alliance with her clients. She brings empathy, positivity, advocacy, and strength-based practices to her collaboration with clients.
