Anna Reid, LCSW

Therapist

Anna is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Missouri who works with teens and adults who feel anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns they can’t quite explain. Many of the people Anna sees are managing school or work stress, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or the lingering impact of past experiences—and are tired of trying to hold it all together on their own.

In individual therapy with clients ages 18 and up, Anna helps people understand why they feel the way they do and build practical tools for managing stress, anxiety, and depression. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in trauma-informed care. She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), humanistic and existential perspectives, and gentle, body-based strategies to help clients feel more present, connected, and in control of their lives.

Anna’s work is deeply person-centered and strengths-based: she believes you are the expert on your own story, and therapy is a space to explore that story with curiosity rather than judgment. Together, you’ll move toward health and wellbeing—learning to live your one life well, with more self-compassion and intention.

Outside of the therapy room, Anna enjoys spending time in nature, reading, going to the dog park with her two dogs, and playing tabletop games like Dungeons & Dragons with friends and family.
