Anita is a Licensed Associate Counselor who earned her graduate degree from Monmouth University, who has worked with adults and adolescents for 6+ years in an inpatient hospital setting, outpatient therapy, and psychiatric crisis. Anita has experience helping those struggling with anxiety, depression, anger, relationship instability, and complex family issues, and has a special interest in working with LGBTQIA+ individuals. Anita utilizes therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. Anita’s goal is to use a trauma-informed approach to provide a compassionate, non-judgmental atmosphere where Clients feel heard and understood.
