Angelica Valentin is a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience within multiple levels of care and specialties working with children, adolescents, and adults. Angelica attended the University of Pennsylvania for her Masters in School and Mental Health counseling, and Chestnut Hill College for her Bachelor’s in Psychology. Her professional experience includes working within residential, school, and intensive outpatient settings with individuals and families living with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, neurodiversity, gender identity and trauma. She works from a systemic perspective and recognizes that many challenges occur within the context of relationships and from influences within the environment. Angelica practices through an eclectic lens with experience in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, (CBT) Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment Based Family Therapy (ABFT) and Somatic Practices. By creating a warm, inviting safe space with unconditional support, she believes her clients can overcome these challenges and access their own strength, insight, and wisdom. In her spare time, Angelica enjoys spending her time in UNO battles with her children, reading the newest fantasy book from her favorite local bookshop, and hiking with her husband and two rescue dogs.
