Angela believes perception and intention are important factors that drive how we view the world. Our first relationships help form the basis of our worldview and how we communicate with others throughout our lives. Exploring how we communicate with others can sometimes be the missing piece of our puzzle. With a little humor and a lot of understanding, Angela has a gift for making a connecting with people. She has experience working with a diverse client base and is always excited at the prospect of learning about someone new.

As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over eight years of experience in addiction medicine, Angela has developed skills and knowledge which enable her to assist in areas such as mental health and wellness, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, trauma, substance misuse and various other issues.

Angela uses an eclectic style in her practice to match the needs of each client. She is trained in Motivational Interviewing, Anxiety treatment, mindfulness and CBT. Through her years of working with populations struggling with addiction, Angela has developed an ability and affinity for meeting clients where they are in the moment. She will provide support and encouragement and to help you unlock the potential you have always had to live the life you deserve.

Angela received a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Long Island University in 2011 and has experience working at community mental health clinics with families, children and individuals coping with various issues including mental illness, marital discord and family trauma to name a few. Angela completed a 10-month training in motivational interviewing with TPII in 2020 and continues to use this training in her practice. She also holds a certificate in clinical anxiety treatment and is currently completing work to add to her knowledge of ADHD treatment. Angela continues to work with individuals struggling with addiction and has been privileged to be a part of many recovery journeys.
