Angela is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) who obtained her master’s degree in social work with a focus on mental health and addictions in 2018. Angela has spent the last 10 years working in the mental health field in various systems including in-patient psychiatric hospitals, business development and leadership, community-based education, substance use outpatient treatment, domestic violence shelters, long-term care, and outreach in school systems. She has experience working with adolescents, adults, and older adults working through depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, grief, major life transitions, relational issues, and more.
In her therapeutic approach, she blends evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness to create an individualized tailored experience that each client is looking for. Whether you’re looking for help to navigate life’s complexities or a couple seeking to gain harmony, she works to provide a safe space where you feel comfortable and truly heard. In Angela’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, gardening, reading mystery and true crime thrillers, attending concerts, and traveling any chance she gets.
