Amelo Bacchus (she/her) is a passionate and empathetic therapist who takes a client-centered and existential approach to therapy. She believes that life is often about balance — and when that balance is disrupted, counseling can be a powerful tool to help individuals reconnect with their authentic selves and build meaningful, well-lived lives.
Amelo is a Licensed Associate Counselor and a National Certified Counselor with experience supporting diverse communities, including children, adolescents, and adults, through trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, behavioral assistance, and co-occurring disorder treatment. She is especially committed to working with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and identity development. Her previous roles include working in community mental health, diversion services, and higher education, where she facilitated culturally responsive support to create spaces of healing and empowerment for clients of all ages.
In her free time, Amelo enjoys watching Korean dramas, running, dancing, listening to music, and going on outdoor adventures. She brings empathy, curiosity, and a genuine belief in people’s ability to grow to every therapeutic relationship. She is honored to support others in their healing process and encourages every client to step into their story with compassion and courage.
