Amberly has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults as they navigate complex life challenges. Her clinical background includes supporting clients through major life transitions and adjustments, chronic illness, trauma, and grief. She has also dedicated much of her work to survivors of domestic violence (DV) and sexual assault (SA), providing trauma-informed care that is compassionate, culturally responsive, and grounded in safety and trust.
Her therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to the unique needs of each client. Drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Play Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Amberly creates a supportive environment that encourages healing and growth. She believes the therapeutic relationship itself is a powerful catalyst for change, and she is committed to cultivating a space where clients feel safe, seen, and empowered to reclaim their narratives.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Amberly is passionate about making mental health care accessible and culturally affirming for the diverse communities she serves.
Outside of her counseling work, Amberly enjoys trying new restaurants, exploring hobbies, and spending time with her family, friends, and two playful puppies.
