Amber is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Dance/movement therapist who strives to utilize and encourage creativity and play in the therapeutic process. Amber earned a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Behavioral Health Counseling at Drexel University in 2013 and a Master of Arts Degree in Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling from Drexel University in 2020. She has over six years of experience working in the mental health field providing treatment planning, individual therapy and group therapy. Amber strives to meet clients wherever they are in their journey, and utilizes a collaborative approach to identifying and achieving personal goals in therapy. She has experience working with individuals across the lifespan with a variety of diagnoses and stressors including mood disorders, co-occurring disorders, ADHD, ASD, trauma, and grief and loss. Amber utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, psychiatric rehabilitation, dialectical behavioral therapy, and dance/movement therapy in her practice taking a person-centered, psychodynamic, and eclectic approach.
