Amanda Storm is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who received her Master of Arts from Appalachian State University. She has been working with adolescents, children, and families for the last 20 plus years and is passionate about helping families heal and reconnect. She also has experience treating adolescent depression, anxiety, trauma and attachment difficulties.
Amanda’s career has included experience in residential treatment, Partial Hospital Program, Less Intensive Partial Hospital Program, outpatient, day treatment, crisis management, school based, and community mental health. She is trained in Triple P (Positive Parenting Practices), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Theraplay, and motivational interviewing. Amanda believes that all humans can benefit from mental health treatment and that having an outside positive and supportive perspective can help an individual move toward change. She takes pride in walking through the growth journey with her patients and thrives to help each individual be the best version of themselves.
Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband three daughters, camping, hiking, and anything that allows her to be outside.
