Alex Gilmore is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, committed to supporting adolescents, young adults, and adults as they navigate life’s transitions, emotional challenges, and personal growth. She received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Florida State University and brings a deep appreciation for the unique stories and strengths each client carries. Alex’s clinical approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and grounded in the belief that healing happens through connection, safety, and self-compassion. She integrates modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness practices to help clients process trauma, manage anxiety, explore identity, and build more fulfilling relationships. In her work, Alex values authenticity, curiosity, and collaboration. She strives to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen and empowered to reclaim their voice, rediscover their strengths, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
