Alex Dang, LAPC

Therapist

Alex Dang is a graduate of Duquesne University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling master’s program and is currently pursuing a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision at the same university.

He is committed to helping individuals of all ages confront life’s challenges and recognize their successes. His experience includes working extensively with issues related to suicide, anxiety, depression, gender differences, veteran status, neurodivergent conditions, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Additionally, he has facilitated several therapy groups focused on psychoeducation and social skills development.

Alex utilizes Reality Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and a Client-Centered Approach to assist clients in achieving their therapeutic and life goals. He believes that fostering trust and healthy relationships is essential for positive outcomes. Outside of his professional pursuits, Alex is a sports enthusiast, movie lover, food explorer, and enjoys traveling in his free time.
