Alessa Manuola is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of New Jersey. She earned her Master of Social Work from the Rutgers School of Social Work and also completed a certificate in the promotion of child and adolescent well-being.
Alessa is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and adults as they navigate life’s challenges. She has experience working in outpatient and university counseling settings, helping clients manage concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, self-esteem, and life transitions.
As Ellie’s child and adolescent therapist, Alessa has a special interest in working with young people and creating a space where they feel safe, understood, and supported. She also enjoys helping college-aged clients and young adults navigate periods of transition, identity development, and emotional stress.
Alessa’s approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and compassionate. Her work is informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based approaches, and she tailors treatment to each client’s unique needs and developmental stage.
Alessa believes therapy can be a place for meaningful change, and she feels honored to walk alongside clients as they work toward greater emotional well-being.
