I am a pre-licensed social worker providing psychotherapy under clinical supervision by Esperanza Garibay, LCSW-S. I have worked in the social work field since 2019, beginning after earning my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. My early professional experience includes working in an inpatient setting, followed by providing community-based mental health services and crisis response.
While working as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) in community mental health, I earned my Master of Social Work degree in 2023 and obtained my social work license in 2024. Throughout my career, I have supported clients at various stages of their journey—whether navigating periods of processing, life transitions, or crisis.
My approach to therapy is grounded in a systems framework, recognizing the influence of relationships, environments, and lived experiences on emotional well-being. I work collaboratively with clients to foster empowerment and build confidence while developing practical and effective coping skills. I integrate evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support self-awareness, emotional regulation, and meaningful growth.
I strive to create a supportive, respectful, and affirming therapeutic space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to make sustainable, positive change.
