Abigail Martin, MSW

Pre-Licensed Clinician

Abigail’s approach is grounded in the belief that people are the experts of their own stories and deserve a non-judgmental space to explore their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. She works primarily with children and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and developmental challenges. She uses a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to each individual, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Family Systems, and Trauma-Focused interventions. I specialize in play and talk therapy, incorporating Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), DIR/Floortime, and other developmentally appropriate, strength-based models. She tends to steer away from strictly behavioral approaches—especially when working with children—and instead emphasize connection, emotional safety, and attunement. Her goal is to create a supportive environment where clients feel secure, seen, and empowered.
