Hi! My name is Abby, and I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at IU Columbus. I am excited to join Ellie Mental Health as an intern, where I will be working under the supervision of experienced professionals to enhance my skills in providing compassionate and effective mental health support.
My coursework has equipped me with a solid foundation in cognitive behavioral therapy, which I am eager to apply in a practical setting while continuing to develop other therapeutic techniques. I am committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for all clients and I look forward to contributing positively to our community.
I live in Columbus with my partner, Kyle, and our lab, Ruby, along with our two kids, ages 17 and 19. In my free time, I enjoy watching sports, especially IU basketball, the Colts, and the Pacers. I also enjoy reading and taking trips whenever possible.
