Abigail is a Master’s level Associate Professional Counselor and current Ph.D. Student at Belmont University working towards a degree in Advanced Clinical Practice. Abigail’s focus is on adolescents and adults struggling with substance abuse, grief, anxiety, depression, spirituality, trauma, PTSD, and a variety of other topics that are brought into sessions. Not only does she work with clients in a private practice setting, but she has extensive experience helping patients who have been hospitalized in inpatient units, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). Her educational goal is to continue advancing her clinical skills which will help her to address issues in our rapidly changing world of mental health. Her personal research interests are in depression, suicidality, and perfectionism seen in athletes at all levels. Abigail is looking forward to learning more about your needs and providing ways to help you manage intense emotions and situations.
