Tina is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and supervisor. She earned her Masters degree in counseling from Montclair State University. Tina enjoys working with young adults 16 and up and adults with variety Mental health and substance use concerns. Tina believes everyone can benefit from counseling and her current practice model is structures around empathy, thoughtfulness, creativity, and collaboration. Tina has been a therapist for 20 years and still loves what she does! In her career she has held roles as CEO, Program Director and Practice Management consulting, she has helped many clients work through significant life events as well as depressions, mood disorders, anxiety, addiction, substance use and trauma. Tina thrives on ensuring her clients feel they are in “good hands” throughout our therapeutic relationship. It is important to her that everyone feels heard and understood. Tina believes the foundation to success in counseling is the therapeutic connection that is based on trust, hope, and faith that we can achieve anything together. Her sessions combine cognitive-behavioral, client centered, trauma informed, motivational interviewing and solution-based approaches to therapy. As a healthcare leader for 20 years, she also provide professional life coaching related to stress management, career counseling, organizational processes and self-confidence.
