Dr. Deborah E. Willis is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 22 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion, resilience, and hope.

She has extensive experience supporting clients through trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, significant life transitions, and other complex mental health concerns. Dr. Willis has worked in hospitals, military mental health treatment facilities, community mental health organizations, and integrated healthcare systems, providing care to clients across the lifespan and from diverse backgrounds.

Dr. Willis utilizes evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, trauma-informed care, and other therapeutic modalities. She believes in creating a supportive, collaborative environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful, lasting change.

In addition to providing individual, couples, and family therapy, Dr. Willis has experience with crisis intervention, suicide and risk assessment, grief counseling, emotional regulation, and geriatric mental health. She is passionate about helping clients build practical coping skills, strengthen relationships, and improve their overall well-being.

Dr. Willis earned her Ph.D. in Health Psychology from Walden University, where her doctoral research focused on factors related to suicide risk and protective influences among adult populations.
